UV Water Filtration - keeping our water healthy yum yum chemical free

Ultraviolet light purify's water by penetrating the cells of harmful bacteria / viruses in water - this destroy's the cells ability to reproduce.

This filtration system destroys 99.99% harmful microorganisms. There are NO resistant micro-organisms known.

UV is highly effective against:
Bacteria, Viruses, Algae, Molds, Yeast and Disease causing oocysts

Bacteria & viruses cause most major pathogenic diseases (waterborne). Hepatitis virus and Legionella pneumophila have been shown to survive for long periods in the presence of chlorinated water, but are eliminated pretty rapidly by UV treatment.

Theres a bit of interesting info for you.. I am not sure what countries other than Australia use this system of filtration. In Hong Kong our water is recycled and chlorinated but you must boil it first before drinking etc.. Thats all I know.
